How to clean your Chlorinator cell

1. Turn off the power to chlorinator/filtration system.

2. If the filtration system is below the water level, isolate the cell by closing the valves on the suction and return lines.

3. Remove the cell from the housing.

4. Remove any large calcium deposits with something soft like a paddle pop stick

5. Place the cell in Zodiac Salt Chlorinator Cleaner, making sure there is no contact with the terminals.

6. Check every 5 minutes until all scale is removed.

7. Lubricate O’Ring with Aussie Gold Lube-It, replace cell and secure.

8. Return all valves to original positions.

9. Restart chlorinator/filtration system as per normal.

· Inspect cell monthly and clean when scale appears on the plates
